Angkor Temples

Tuk tuk tours of the main temples and outlying gems

While the Angkor Wat temple complex is iconic, Siem Reap has so much more to offer. We have chosen a range of tours that take you from the famous main temples to hidden, quiet corners of our province — all built around fair pay for our local drivers and guides.

How booking works

You can book all tours directly at reception when you arrive. Most tuk tuk tours and activities are added to your room bill and settled at the end of your stay. A few tours during peak season require advance booking — these are clearly marked below.

Temple entrance fees (2026)

You will need an Angkor Pass before visiting the temples. Buy it at the official ticket office on the road to Angkor, or online at angkorwatticket.com.

  • 1-Day Pass: $37

  • 3-Day Pass: $62 (valid over 7 days — most popular)

  • 7-Day Pass: $72 (valid for one month)

Which pass should I choose?

The 1-day pass is best for a quick visit covering the Iconic Three. The 3-day pass gives you time to see the main temples and explore the quieter countryside temples at your own pace. The 7-day pass is for travellers who want total freedom — return at sunrise, sunset, and everything in between.

Why book a Babel guide?

  • Certified & Licensed: All our guides are fully qualified and certified by the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism.

  • Logistics: Your guide will meet you at Babel and join you in your tuk tuk.

  • Real stories: Our guides grew up in the shadow of these temples. They share the knowledge, legends, and daily life that no guidebook can capture. Outlying Temples & Hidden Gems

While the main temple area is famous, the outlying temples offer a quieter, more unique experience. These tours take you a bit further into the countryside to see a different side of Cambodia.

All prices are per Tuk Tuk (not per person).

Banteay Srey temple

Banteay Srey — $30 A beautiful, small temple made of red sandstone with the most detailed carvings in the region. Tip: Catch the soft afternoon glow on these remarkably detailed temple carvings for an even more magical experience.

Banteay Srey & Kbal Spean — $35 A mix of culture and nature. Visit the temple, then enjoy a 2km walk up a jungle path to see ancient carvings in the riverbed. Note: Kbal Spean closes after 3pm. Best visited between September and January

Insider Tip: Want to maximise your day? Add Banteay Srey to your Big or Small Tour for a total of only $35!

On the way to Banteay Srey — recommended stops:

Banteay Srey Butterfly Centre — A beautiful conservation project with thousands of native Cambodian butterflies. A favourite among guests with children — shaded garden, nature, and a cosy café for parents to relax.

The Landmine Museum — An important and educational insight into Cambodia's recent history. A sobering and worthwhile stop for older children and adults.

Beng Mealea & Roluos — $40 (Full Day, approx. 6–8 hours)

Escape the crowds and discover a jungle temple unlike anything in the main Angkor area. Best time to visit: arrive at 7am for a crowd-free experience. Note: Beng Mealea is one of the few temples where you can pay a separate entrance fee ($10) without holding an Angkor Pass.
